The Grant Instruments QBD4L is part of the QB range of dry block heating system for temperature control of test tubes and microtubes. The QBD4L model is a versatile general purpose system able to accommodate four removable/interchangeable sample blocks and offering a comprehensive specification to suit most dry block heating applications within the laboratory.This heating system has a wide temperature range of ambient +5 to 130 degrees Celsius, with temperature stability and uniformity of ±0.1 degrees Celsius. It has a high power heater to provide a fast heat up time (25 to 100 degrees Celsius in 15 minutes) and over temperature cut-out feature to ensure the safety of your samples.Designed for durability and ease-of-use these block heaters are robustly constructed in streamlined cool wall aluminium and chemical resistant plastic. The QB range of heating systems also offers maximum user flexibility, with a wide choice of compatible sample blocks available, each fitting a different size tube/microtube(sold separately). Each heating system comes with an extraction tool as standard for easy and safe block removal/interchange. The QBD4L has a compact footprint and low profile to help optimise bench space and a sloping facia to ensure clear visibility during set-up and whilst in use. It has capacity for four interchangeable sample blocks. Product dimensions are: 10 x 20 x 38 cm (H x W x D). Additional features include: convenient timer facility, with audible buzzer, for reaction timing and function timing (e.g. Delayed heater switch-on/switch-off); simple-to-use controls for fast, accurate set-up; single and dual point calibration; clear LED temperature display.
